Tasting note
This Blaufränkisch appears in a sparkling ruby garnet with violet reflections. On the nose, aromas of red currant, dark cherry, lilac, violet and spicy notes of fresh herbs and orange zest inspire. On the palate, the wine is extremely straight, juicy and drinkable with lots of berry fruit, well-integrated acidity and fine-grained tannins. A very typical Blaufränkisch dish full of elegance and depth.

Vinification
The Blaufränkisch Deutschkreutz comes from various top locations (Goldberg, Hochberg, Kart) in the wine stronghold of Burgenland, Deutschkreutz. The vines grow there on calcareous and sandy loam and loess soils. Ideal conditions for the production of elegant and mineral wines from Blaufränkisch. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented spontaneously with the natural yeasts. It is aged for several months, partly in steel tanks and partly in used barriques on fine yeast.
