Tasting note
We are dealing with an extremely powerful wine here. From the glass, rich aromas of ripe dark fruits and berries, fruit pulp, creamy oak and balsamic herbal notes flow into the nose, which fan out into a royal spectrum of aromas. On the palate, fine, even firm tannin with excellent and well-integrated acidity, the precious wood has been perfectly integrated into the wine, which ensures an excellent balance. The storage potential is enormous. Decant for at least an hour before serving. However, the wine will become even more complex over the next few years as a result of further maturation. But drinking a bottle now is certainly no crime. We couldn't wait either!!
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: BLACK LABEL limited edition goes well with ribeye steak, pizza with mushrooms and red meat. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for red wine is a slightly chilled 15°-17°C.
Vinification
For top wines and especially for the Black Label, the selection and selection is rigorous, which was produced in close cooperation with the winery only for the Swiss market! Only the best locations in Jumilla are suitable, so we have chosen a blend of 40% Monastrell, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah from these grapes. The wine was then aged for 22 months in 60% French and 40% American oak, which further underlines the exclusivity of this hedonistic wine. Free from animal products - vegan certified.
