About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Tenuta di Biserno masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile Tuscan countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burger or ribeye steak.

Tasting note
Intense, dense black red with purple reflections. Very thick on the nose and wonderfully complex. Ripe, dark berries, plums, “Mon Chéri”, mild tobacco, coffee, menthol, a small touch of coconut and vanilla. On the palate, the colossus is powerful and very full-bodied. And yet the wine, with all its richness, appears very elegant, almost delicate. Lavish roasted aromas, ripe dark fruit, wonderfully smooth tannins and an almost endless aromatic persistence on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef fillet and other fine cuts of meat.
Vinification
Only the best grapes are used for the Tenuta di Biserno flagship. After careful harvesting and meticulous selection of the grapes, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. The fermentation takes place in barriques and in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged in new French barriques for 15 months. The wine is then aged in the bottle for a further twelve months.
