Ben A is a sweet, sparkling wine made from blackcurrants. Ben A is made from handpicked Danish blackcurrants of the Ben A variety. Danish blackcurrants find optimal conditions in the Nordic climate, where the temperature differences between cool nights and long, bright days lead to a long ripening period, which develops a fantastic taste and a unique acid profile. The blackcurrants are crushed and fermented together with the skins at a low temperature to obtain the tasty wine. Before the blackcurrant wine is fermented a second time in the bottle, it is blended with our cider to achieve a perfect balance of taste and acidity. Before disgorgement, the wine is stored in the bottle for at least 9 months. Finally, the dosage is added, which transforms the Ben A into a sparkling dessert wine.
