About the wine
In spring 1993, the company Bellussi Spumanti was taken over by Paolo and Enrico Martellozzo. Father Paolo owned a company that produced table wines; he wanted to complete his career as a winemaker in an important DOC area and chose the area around Valdobbiadene, the most important production center for sparkling wine from Veneto. Together with his son Enrico (third generation of Martellozzo's), he wanted to focus on the quality and reviving a centuries-old history: the “bellussera”, a pruning technique that is still common in the Treviso region today and which was even invented by a Bellussi.

Tasting note
The color is a soft light pink with light ruby reflections. The perlage, light and bubbly, has a persistent foam. On the nose, an intense aroma of small berries (raspberries, cherries and wild strawberries) and citrus notes. On the palate, there are fruity notes of pink grapefruit, wonderfully silky body with a dry finish.
Culinary recommendation
Aperitif, goes well with fish and sushi, as an accompaniment.
Vinification
Ageing 90 days after tank fermentation, dosage 9 g/L.
