About the wine
Roberto Ferrari founded the winery in 1977. He sold his grapes until 1994, after which he started his own production with Andrea, responsible for the production and distribution of the wines. Together, they now cultivate around 8 ha of vineyards, located between Stabio and Ligornetto. Around 45000 bottles are produced each year.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red with purple reflections. The bouquet is broad, very complex, fruity and spicy. In the finish, very dense, well-structured with great complexity and harmony. The grapes come from vines that are at least 25 years old. Aging up to 50% in new barriques and 50% in once used barriques, then in the bottle for 12 months.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes such as beef, lamb or game. It is also an ideal partner for aged hard cheese.
Vinification
The grapes come from Tenuta Bella Cima in Stabio and are carefully picked by hand. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages in French oak barrels for 24 months, using 50% new and 50% second-coated barriques.
