Bedrock Vineyard Zinfandel Sonoma Valley 2019 - Once & Future, Joel Peterson

Joel Peterson once founded the Ravenswood winery and soon became one of California's most renowned winemakers. Today, at the age of over 70, he only makes wines that he can create with the work of his own hands. They are small quantities of “Mediterranean” pearls under its “Once & Future” label. Bedrock Vineyard dates back to the 19th century. The majority of the current vine population dates back to around 1888! In the main, it is Zinfandel. But there are still 26 (!) Other varieties in this vineyard and all are harvested and processed together. A wine-cultural natural wonder made from the region's “original grapes”.
