About the wine
A blend of classic Piedmontese grapes Barbera and Nebbiolo. Each vintage variation is made from different proportions of grape varieties. Located in the renowned Langhe region, Bat 21 embodies the essence of this wine landscape: the lush richness of Barbera meets the elegant structure of Nebbiolo, creating an interplay that promises both depth and lively freshness.

Tasting note
A deep ruby red indicates the impressive richness of this wine. On the nose, strong aromas of red berries develop, harmoniously complemented by fine spicy notes. The subtle use of wood gives the wine additional depth without masking the fruity nuances. On the palate, this Piedmont cuvée shines with a balanced combination of gently integrated tannins and invigorating freshness. The wine is full-bodied and round, and its velvety texture reverberates for a long time.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with hearty cheeses, grilled meats and fine sausages.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, starting at the end of September and continuing into the first half of October. Each grape variety is vinified separately to preserve its characteristic aromas and characteristics. After destemming, the grapes go through fermentation with 8 to 10 days of maceration on the skins to reach maximum depth. The subsequent aging takes place partly in French oak barriques and partly in stainless steel tanks to create a harmonious balance between structure and aroma. Through further aging in the bottle, BAT21 finally develops its unmistakable fineness and complexity.
