About the wine
Rocche di Castelletto is located in the heart of the Barolo area, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. The cultivated vineyard area is 5 hectares, all in the sub-zone known as Ginestra.

Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red, on the nose this Barolo is complex but also very elegant. Beautiful berry notes harmonize with typical lacquer aromas. The aging in barriques is not distinctive and adds subtle roasted aromas. Full-bodied on the palate, powerful but also smooth and round thanks to the harmoniously integrated tannin. An extremely balanced, multi-faceted wine, long-lasting in the finish and aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Goes perfectly with truffle risotto, prosciutto and burrata.
Vinification
The temperature-controlled fermentation takes 7 days and takes place in steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is aged in oak barrels of various sizes for 12 months.
