About the wine
The Barolo La Serra DOCG Burzi is an elegant and powerful Barolo from the renowned La Morra wine-growing region in Piedmont. This wine is made from the Nebbiolo grape and combines the classic structure of a Barolo with finesse and aromatic depth.

Tasting note
The Barolo La Serra starts on the nose with red wild berries, violets and roses, light balsamic notes and fine spices. Elegant palate with ripe, powerful tannins and a harmonious texture as well as wonderful fullness. The aftertaste is long-lasting with lots of fruit and delicate spicy notes.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with game dishes, lamb, mushroom risotto and aged cheese.
Vinification
After destemming and crushing, spontaneous fermentation begins in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The maceration takes between 35 and 45 days. The wine is aged in 20 hl Stockinger oak barrels and the last few months before bottling, the wine is also aged in concrete tanks.
