About the wine
The nose is dominated by notes of red and black cherries, paired with spicy and herbal notes. Very accessible on the palate with an interesting minerality, but present with good quality tannins and an invigorating freshness.

Tasting note
The aromas of the Barolo DOCG of anise express a lot of complexity with a very special structure. The floral nuances of roses and cherries then reveal their own character. With strikingly rich tannins, a strong body and outstanding acidity, this fruity red wine shows its flawless texture.
Culinary recommendation
Meat dishes with extract-rich dark sauces, grilled meat, steak and roast beef, game feathers
Vinification
Maceration on skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 10 days before the grapes are pressed and the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel is completed. Around December, the wine is transferred to small oak barrels, of which 15-20% are new and 80% are used. In these, the wine ages for around 2 years. After decanting in stainless steel tanks, the wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
