Tasting note
In the deep garnet red, orange reflections shimmer. The perfume is reminiscent of dried fruit and dried flowers. Rose and violet stand out, surrounded by distinct roasted aromas, spicy sweetness, leather. On the palate, it shows remarkable structure and present, beautifully soft tannins.
Culinary recommendation
At the table, the full-bodied charmer needs equal company: a roast, ripe cheese or a sumptuous venison platter. However, it also shines when not accompanied — perhaps in an armchair in front of the fireplace...
Vinification
In the first half of October, grapes picked by hand from the highest vines. Regular pumping during alcoholic fermentation on the skins for 10-12 days. The single-layer Barolo spends 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, is aged for a further 6 months in steel tanks and in the bottle for at least one year.
