About the wine
Elvio Cogno is one of those winemaking legends who brought Barolo and his Nebbiolo wines to today's level. His son-in-law Valter Fissore not only manages his inheritance, but also draws attention with a sure sense for finesse wines. The Bricco Pernice vineyard, which is only 2 hectares in size, is planted with the small-berry and intensely flavorful Nebbiolo variety Lampia. This wine is aged classically in large 30hl wooden barrels for 24 months. The result is a Grand Cru Nebbiolo thanks to its elegance, complexity, a distinctive yet finesse structure and aroma. With excellent maturation potential, of course.

The vines of the actual 5ha Ravera house date from the 1930s. This structured Barolo is aged classically in large wooden barrels for 24 months. A powerful wine with pure, typical Nebbiolo aromas and very good aging potential. Perfect for any main course full of character.
