About the wine

Tasting note
Brilliant ruby. In the nose of great complexity and density. There are aromas of plums, cherry jam, rose water, truffles, cigars and warm spices. On the palate with lots of substance and at the same time elegance and finesse. The tannins are grainy and present. The aftertaste is aromatic, long-lasting and balanced.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with a classic coniglio with polenta and vegetables.
Vinification
Only the best grapes are good enough for Bruno Giacosa's vineyard Barolo “Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba”. After careful handpicking, the grapes are gently pressed and the mash is immediately classically fermented. The young wine is then aged in wooden barrels for 24 to 48 months, followed by aging in the bottle for six to twelve months.
