Tasting note
Luigi Scavino has the privilege of owning the most prominent vineyards: Voghera, Margheria, San Rocco, Cerretta and Bricco Fiasco. Almost even more important, however, is the fact that they are all planted with vines that are very old on average. Most of it is in the municipality of Serralunga, only Bricco Fiasco belongs to Castiglione Falletto, a stone's throw from the cantina. Compared to Azelia's other Baroli vineyards, Bricco Fiasco exemplifies the floral, accessible, almost lovely character that is characteristic of wines from the western part of the Barolo region. It is precisely defined, incredibly expressive, and shows notes of ripe black berries. Long on the palate, soft and opulent at the start, well structured with ripe tannin on the finish.

Vinification
