About the wine
The Barbera grapes come from the local mountain of the same name, San Michele. Compact bouquet, elegant, expressive, with aromas of sour cherries, blackcurrants, blackberries, plums, thyme and some vanilla. Juicy, youthful tannin on the palate, with notes of dark berries, cherries, dried herbs and some mocha. Goes very well with wild boar medallions with porcini mushrooms.
