About the wine
Castello di Neive is located in the historic center of the village. With Louis Oudart, its owners commissioned the oenologist who had already created the dry Barolo to work in the cellar. However, Neive was not yet part of the Barbaresco growing region at that time. It was not until 1933 that the sites were merged with those of the famous neighboring community of Barolo. Today, Castello di Neive is one of the leading producers in the region and is even represented in Gambero Rosso with a Tre Bicchieri wine! The top wines are the result of a collaboration between oenologists Gian Franco Cordero and Claudio Roggero.
