About the wine
This outstanding red wine 2014 — Barbera d'Alba DOC Pozzo is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The winemaker from the Italian winery Corino absolutely masters his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny Piedmont countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Barbera with hearty, dark meat or stews.
Tasting note
A high-class Barbera, the grapes come from one of the most renowned locations in La Morra. Extremely rich fruit, ripe plums and raspberries, but also clear notes of chocolate and nougat and certain spicy aromas. Rounded on the palate, with great density and fullness, perfect acidity, a wine rich in finesse.

Vinification
The temperature-controlled fermentation takes 7 days and takes place in steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is aged in barriques for 18 months (50% new, 50% second use).
