Tasting note
A characterful Barbera from Piedmont with an intense ruby red color. The nose reveals juicy aromas of ripe cherries, plums and a touch of spices. On the palate, the wine appears lively and fresh, supported by the typical Barbera acid, well-integrated tannins and a pleasant structure. The aftertaste is fruity and harmonious with fine spicy nuances.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with classic stews, veal shanks, creamy saffron risotto with fine truffle slices and pasta variations.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and carefully processed. After alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, a short maceration takes place to extract color and aromas. Some of the wine is then aged in wooden barrels for a few months, while the rest is aged in steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit. Before bottling, the batches are harmoniously assembled.
