Tasting note
Die floralen Aromen von Lavendel, Gewürzen und Vanille drücken viel Komplexität mit einer ganz individuellen Struktur aus. Als Nächstes zeigen die erfrischenden Nuancen von schwarzer Kirsche und Pflaume ihren eigenen Charakter. Kräftiger Körper und hervorstechende Säure ergeben den Rotwein, welcher samtig mit dezenten Gerbstoffen im Mund viel Charakter und Klasse zeigt.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Passt hervorragend zu kräftigem, dunklem Fleisch, Antipasti und Eintöpfen.
Vinification
100% Barbera from a 1950 (!) Plot planted at the Bricco Ambrogio Barolo site in Roddi; fermentation in steel tanks, malo and aging for 8-10 months in small, neutral wooden barrels of various sizes (225 l, 350 l and 500 l).
