About the wine
Ca' del Baio is an old family business owned by the Grasso family. It is now run by Giulio and Luciana and their three daughters Valentina, Paola and Federico. The total of 28 hectares of vineyards are located in the municipalities of Treiso and Barbaresco.

Tasting note
Light garnet red, complex bouquet with notes of black cherries, flowers and hints of undergrowth and licorice, in the mouth it shows a medium fullness and is very elegant, with polished tannins.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with braised red meat, roast lamb, venison and hard cheese.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks for approximately 7-14 days. Subsequent aging for 30 months in large oak barrels.
