Tasting note
The Paitin estate of the Pasquero Elia family is located on one of those typical Piedmontese hills, in front of the town of Neive-Barbaresco. The field name is Serraboella and that is also the name of the basic Barbaresco of Azienda Paitin. The small but pretty winery stands at the top of the hill, just below the Nebbiolo vines, which supply the grapes for Sorì Paitin and Serraboella, both Barbaresco sites of the Azienda Pasquero Elia. The wines of the brothers Giovanni and Silvano Pasquero Elia are always characterized by a precise, finely chiselled definition. The tannins of Barbaresco Serraboella are soft, well embedded in an elegant structure.
