About the wine
Blooming and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Beni di Batasiolo conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the fine Barbaresco DOCG from 2013, you will positively surprise your friends.

Tasting note
Garnet red with ruby reflections. On the nose, notes of dried cherries, dark berries, dry forest soil and balsamic nuances. Compact and juicy on the palate with good structure, present but fine-grained tannins. Roasted aromas, candy, again dried fruits, some undergrowth aromas and chocolate. In the end, harmonious and long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried and braised meats.
Vinification
Nebbiolo grapes from the municipality of Barbaresco are used for this wine. After harvesting, careful fermentation takes place in the Batasiolo cellar, which lasts about ten days. During this time, the must remains in steel containers, in which the grapes and the skins are prepared for fermentation. To refine, this wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for at least one year and then in the bottle for another year.
