Tasting note
A Barbaresco picture book. Typical brick red. Intense and extremely complex in scent. Reminiscent of dried flowers, orange peel, rum and leather. On the palate, the very nice (and rare) combination of soft fullness and juicy acidity, despite the 14% alcohol, the wine is very rich in finesse and not heavy. Fine-grained, soft tannin gives structure and keeps the wine together. Wonderful and long-lasting aftertaste. A wine for festive moments with plenty of storage potential!
Culinary recommendation
Vinification
After the biological acid degradation is complete, the wine is stored in French oak barriques for 12 months (50% new and 50% aged). It is then aged for a further 12 months in 25 HL wooden barrels.
