With this snappy Nebbiolo 2011 — Barbaresco 'Cru Paje' DOCG, the term taste takes on a new meaning. With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Produttori del Barbaresco masters this red wine in the fertile and blooming countryside of Piedmont. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Nebbiolo with truffle risotto or beef.

Tasting note
Rich ruby with cherry-red reflections. On the nose, ripe aromas of plum, peppermint, black chocolate and forest soil. Seductive and complex. Strong, rich, full-bodied and always very elegant on the palate. Combined power and aroma. raspberries, plums, and forest soil. A powerful Barbaresco, with firm tannin and perfect acid structure. Extremely long and complex in the aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried meat, combined pasta dishes and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes from the Montestefano vineyard are picked by hand, gently pressed and the mash is then fermented in steel tanks. The young wine is aged in large wooden barrels for 36 months. The wine is then aged in the bottle for a further eight months.
