Tasting note
A single-varietal Meunier from both the “Rive Gauche” and “Rive Droite” locations. The basis is the 2020 vintage, aged in used barrels with only minimal addition of sulfur. The nose features aromas of juicy apple and pear, quince, wild berries and some blood orange, plus fine notes of almond blossoms, delicate vanillin and a touch of Earl Grey. Winey on the palate, with good pressure, delicate mineral traces and great freshness. In the finale with fine-tart nut tones. ONLY 1880 BOTTLES PRODUCED!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish and seafood, such as gently poached oysters with green apples and cider foam or fried bream with wild fennel and confit tomatoes.
