It is pale ruby red in the glass, more like a Pinot Noir, with a slight brownish shimmer, which underlines its oxidative development. On the nose, we encounter intense aromas of blueberries and ripe currants as well as juicy black cherries - all subtle, well-structured and elegant - such as a high-quality Barolo or a stronger Pinot Noir of the highest quality. We also find a touch of honey, thyme, ripe olives and cedarwood as well as smoky leathery accents. The taste on the palate intensifies this impression and is also somewhat reminiscent of incense, leather, cinnamon, cloves, some white pepper and a bit of ripened oranges and violets. It has very ripe, polished but lively tannins, medium acidity and a firm backbone and impresses with its long finish. Experience the intense, extremely long-lasting, majestic finish with aftertaste.
