Antalis Vernaccia S. Gimignano Riserva DOCG 2022 - Mormoraia

The Mormoraia by Franca and Giuseppe Passoni is located opposite the historic town of San Gimignano on a hilltop far away from traffic with a wonderful panoramic view. Driven by a growing passion, they transformed the former monastery into a flourishing winery with 25 ha of vines in just a few years. Favourable climate and soil conditions and limited production volumes on the one hand, and a technically perfectly equipped company on the other are the building blocks of respectable success. In addition to fresh, flowery Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Franca and Giuseppe are now also presenting a top-class riserva. Fermentation is already taking place in French oak barriques and is also continuing to age over the following 12 months. The bâtonnage (stirring up the yeast) increases the already considerable richness and gives the wine a wonderful melting point. Notes of hawthorn and exotic fruits characterize the generous bouquet.
