About the wine

Kaltern, this fantastic high plateau in South Tyrol, so idyllically situated and also somewhat untouched by major faults. The Sölva family has been growing wine here for 14 generations, uninterruptedly since 1731, they have been leading the winery through history, the wine was always a good companion, with it it was simply more beautiful without sometimes unbearable, but it was always good, unpretentious, it has only been sold beyond the region for a few decades. Sölvas only started bottling in the 1960s, but then quickly became one of the region's flagship companies, today with around 12 ha and now under the direction of Stephan and Peter Sölva, a South Tyrolean standard, rooted here in every respect, the old vines, the autochthonous varieties, the style.
