About the wine
Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva is one of the most impressive wines in Valpolicella and stands for the highest quality tradition of this famous region in Veneto. The grapes come from the historic Classico area, where there are ideal conditions for powerful yet elegant wines. Only particularly high-quality grapes are used for this riserva. Thanks to the traditional Appassimento process, in which the grapes are dried over several months after harvesting, the wine gains concentration, depth and aromatic intensity.

Tasting note
The glass shows a deep ruby red with light garnet reflections. On the nose, there is a complex bouquet with aromas of ripe cherries, dried fruits and plums, accompanied by spicy notes and fine notes of cocoa, tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, Amarone Riserva is powerful and dense, but at the same time velvety and balanced. The well-integrated tannins and the impressive structure make for a long, warm and elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with braised meat, game dishes, strong pasta sauces or aged cheese. A real experience even as a gourmet wine for special moments.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and carefully selected. They are then dried naturally for several months, which concentrates sugar and aromas. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place slowly at controlled temperatures. The wine then matures in oak barrels over a longer period of time, developing its structure, complexity and harmony. Additional bottle aging further rounds off the wine.
