About the wine
Fertile and beautiful landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Tedeschi conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. You will definitely have a lot of fun with the fine Amarone della Valpolicella DOC, which was produced in 2013.
Tasting note
Eye: ruby red. Nose: very intense, fruity, spicy. Palate: dry, rich in tannins, very persistent

Vinification
The grapes of this wine ripen on numerous hills in the classic Valpolicella zone. The richly structured soils are loamy and limy. Very important for achieving its balance, which only certain soils can give, is the differentiated provenance of the different grape varieties. The grapes are dried on racks in well-ventilated rooms for 4 months, losing 30% of their weight. This wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation. The ageing takes place in large oak barrels and lasts 30 months. Acidity 6.3 g/l; dry extract 41.7 g/l. Residual sugar 3.4 g/l. 2008 was a **** vintage.
