With the fine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC «Crosara delle Strie» from 2012, you will positively surprise your friends. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Corte Rugolin masters this red wine in the blooming and beautiful landscape in Veneto.

Tasting note
Very dense garnet red color. Intense aromas of cooked berries, dried plums and with beautiful cherry and spice notes. This is followed by a strong, harmonious body with beautiful fruit and well-integrated wood.

Vinification
The grapes come from three different vineyards and are harvested by hand from mid-September. After strict selection, the grapes are laid out on mats for 3 months to dry. At the beginning of January, the raisins are mashed and ferment slowly at a low temperature for 50 days. After biological acid degradation, the young wine remains partly in new barriques and partly in 20hl wooden barrels for 24 months, then in the bottle for a further 6 months.
