About the wine
North of Verona, in the village of Negrar, at one of the highest points in the Valpolicella zone (350 m above sea level), the Le Ragose winery overlooks rolling, green hills. In 1969, oenologists Arnaldo and Marta Galli bought the 70-hectare abandoned estate Le Ragose. They recognized that many excellent vineyards were being abandoned in favor of easier to cultivate plots on the plain. So they replanted Le Ragose's vineyards and began cultivating and pressing Amarone and Valpolicella in the most natural way possible.

Mittelkräftiger Körper und dominante Säure ergeben den fruchtigen Rotwein, welcher angenehm mit feinen Tanninen im Mund jede Menge Charakter und Klasse zeigt.

Vinification
The grapes are dried for approx. 3 months before pressing. After pressing, the wine ages in large oak barrels for 4-6 years.
