About the wine
St. Michael-Eppan is a cooperative consisting of 350 winegrowers and is one of the largest and most successful wineries in South Tyrol. Despite its size, quality has been paramount since it was founded in 1907, which is why it is also one of the best winegrowers' cooperatives in the world today. The outstanding oenologist Hans Terzer has been managing the winery since 1977.

Tasting note
Color: Bright straw yellow with golden reflections Aroma: Complex and broad, with fruity notes of apple, pineapple and white peach, accompanied by elegant floral notes and a delicate hint of vanilla and butter resulting from aging in wood. Taste: Dry and full-bodied, with a harmonious and balanced structure. On the palate, aromas of tropical fruits and citrus fruits unfold, accompanied by lively freshness and delicate minerality, which gives the sip depth and persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fine fish, shellfish, seafood and sushi. It is also perfect with white meats and lightly seasoned dishes, as well as with soft, medium-aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where the wine ages on the lees for several months, giving it roundness and complexity. Aging in stainless steel ensures freshness and a balance between structure and acidity.
