About the wine
Noto in southeastern Sicily is the cradle of Nero d'Avola and also a stronghold of Moscato, which is traditionally also dry-grown here. 2012 was the first vintage of Allemanda. The name Allemanda is the name of a dance from the Baroque era.

Tasting note
Expressive moscatonase with fine aromas of citrus and white flowers. Fresh and dry on the palate, carried by a subtle saltiness that creates tension. A wonderfully light summer wine with an inspiring drinking flow.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent aperitif wine. Also suitable for cream cheese, vegetarian dishes such as caprese, fried seafood and pasta, paella or couscous with fish.
Vinification
Early harvest around August 10th. The hand-picked grapes are kept cool for one night before being pressed. Temperature-controlled fermentation at 15 degrees for approx. 3 weeks. The wine then stays in steel tanks on the fine yeast with regular battonage.
