Alias are the first organic wines that do absolutely without additives, neither sulfites nor synthetic enzymes, cultivated yeasts, neither sugar, CO2, protein, isinglass or bentonite, no fermentation aids, no fining agents - simply pure nature. Absolutely healthy grapes are the prerequisite. The cultivation of soils with purely organic fertilizers, permanent greening, diversity instead of monotonous cultivated landscape, the absolute abandonment of insecticides and herbicides for years leads to perfect conditions for the vines. Ancient, not highly bred clones native to the department of Vienne form the backbone of alias. Contrary to most organic winemakers, Brochet is not one who rejects modern technology when it benefits the goal. He makes zero compromises when it comes to cleanliness and precision when working both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
