About the wine
Shiso (or perilla) is a traditional Japanese spice, with an exotic, slightly minty aroma and the beautiful, approximately one meter high plant impresses with purple leaves and pink flowers. Shiso contains a lot of vitamin A and vitamin C and is primarily used to season Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi or tempura and is essential for serving umeboshi. However, the leaves are also used to make aromatic herb mustard or a type of pesto.
