About the wine
Kellerei Girlan is a winegrowers' cooperative in South Tyrol. It was founded in 1923. Today, over 200 winegrowing families are affiliated with it, who cultivate around 200 hectares of vineyards. The winery is located in the center of South Tyrol. It includes prime locations 440 to 550 m above sea level. Thanks to expert advice to winegrowers and the use of cutting-edge techniques, both of which require high-quality know-how, Kellerei Girlan has achieved a leading position in the wine world of South Tyrol.

Tasting note
This wine expresses the typicality of the white wines of South Tyrol. Purely toned, delicate bouquet. Balanced and fresh on the palate with a slight aromatic note. A great aperitif wine, uncomplicated but not banal.
Culinary recommendation
For goat cheese, soft cheese and truffles, the Flaschenpöstler recommends 448 S.l.m. Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT. The recommended drinking period for this wine is in the following period: Now until 2025.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. After gentle pressing, the must is removed from the turbid substances through natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The aging takes place in stainless steel tanks on fine yeast. From 2023 onwards with screw cap.
