About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2022, it's this dominant Shiraz 2018 — YARDEN Bar'on Syrah. The winemaker from the Israeli winery Golan Heights greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Shiraz with venison or barbecue.

Tasting note
The “Yarden Bar'on Syrah” pampers the nose delicately and finely structured with aromas of ripe black fruit, as well as attractive scents of earth, smoked meat and a touch of anise. This seductive red 'Single Vineyard' red wine has a full body, well-balanced tannins and is full of complexity.
Culinary recommendation
It goes phenomenally with a juicy beef roast, fried lamb cutlet or with root vegetables braised in red wine.
Vinification
The wine consists exclusively of Syrah grapes, which are harvested in Bar'on vineyards at over 1000 meters above sea level in the Golan Heights. The aging takes 18 months in French oak barrels.
