WhistlePig 12 Year Old Rye combines American rye whiskey and old world wine barrels. An experiment that gives this unmistakable rye whiskey its complexity. Born from the idea that a whole is always more than the sum of its parts, a trio of different barrels — port wine, Sauternes and Madeira — is used for the finish, which enrich the rye with their characteristic aromas. Similar to the parts of a symphony, each of these distinctive characters come together in a blend.
