About the wine
Motivated by his enthusiasm for good wines, Andrea Davaz founded von Salis AG in 1994 with two friends. They themselves cultivate around two hectares of their own vines in the Bündner Herrschaft and purchase from over 60 winegrowers in Fläsch, Maienfeld, Jenins, Malans, Zizers and Trimmis. The Bündner grapes grow there on more than 50 hectares, making the wines something special.

Tasting note
The seductive rosé color delivers what it promises. Intense bouquet with notes of iced candy, pear and preserved peach. Plus hints of biscuit and white flowers. On the palate, a nice mix of sweetness and acidity. Has a smooth effect. Aroma of yellow stone fruit and citrus, medium-long aftertaste. “Simply fine” and perfect for any aperitif.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal as an aperitif wine but also with fish, poultry, white meat and Asian dishes.
Vinification
The new addition to the “Wein einfach fein” family. The Pinot Noir grapes are pressed after a short maceration period and then fermented and aged like white wine in stainless steel tanks.
