About the wine

The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from Tuscany has enjoyed great recognition for centuries. While the king of wines was once reserved only for noble and rich families, it is now considered a great wine that does not have to be paid dearly. This applies in particular to the wines of Azienda Agricola Canneto. As early as the 1930s, the vineyards and wines of the winery were considered among the best in the region. Since some Swiss friends took over the winery in 1987 out of passion and love for Vino Nobile and completely renewed it, only long-lasting wines of excellent quality have left the cellar. The classic Vino Nobile are showered with praise and awards and Canneto is counted among the elite in Montepulciano.

Tasting note
Observations - an homage to life, mature love, full of calm warmth, never blind and hot, never forgetting even the dark hours, multifaceted, interwoven and grown as everything is remembered, the ripe fruit, dark, red and brown, warm moments, cocoa, upsetting events, bitter freshness, green plants, undergrowth, and very dark tart seasoning. Balanced ripeness on the palate, the lived life, the sweet fruit, the tart, dark sides, a touch of melancholy but lively without heaviness, in the river, in retrospect humility, the deep, very bitter, very dark sides, tannins, ash, surrounded by a mild, warm spice, how everything is a great miracle! Great, fascinating story!
