About the wine
The name “Villarita” reminds us of the house of Nonna Rita, the wife of Nonno Tumlin, who played a decisive role in the story of Cantine Povero. Nonna Rita had a strong work ethic, but she never held back when it was time to toast with a good glass of sparkling wine. The wine is made from grapes that are harvested just before they are fully ripe and gently pressed only with the must from the first pressing. The wine is fermented for the second time using the long Charmat method.

Tasting note
Sparkling wine with straw yellow color and greenish reflections. The foam is very lively, with a fine and persistent perlage. The intense bouquet has notes of white flowers, citrus fruits, banana, aromatic herbs and ripe pear. On the palate, it is dry and fresh.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spaghetti with fish sauce, fried fish, goat cheese, crostini with walnuts and gorgonzola, marinated fish, grilled white meat and steamed vegetables.
