Tasting note
The Franciacorta Rosé Brolese is an elegant extra brut, to which its proportion of Pinot Noir gives it an excellent structure and the Chardonnay a wealth of scents. The fine, persistent perlage and fresh acidity give it freshness and are underlined by the notes of unripe fruits and citrus fruits that rise above the floral notes of linden and broom. Bread crust and spices round off the sensory profile of this rosé with its rich and elegant personality.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, fish carpaccio, sushi, puff pastry, grilled chicken, mild blue cheese.
Vinification
The Pinot Nero is cold macerated before alcoholic fermentation, the base wine is blended with Chardonnay before the second fermentation. The brolese remains on the lees in the bottle for 30 months.
