About the wine
The Tenuta Aia Vecchia is an idyllically situated property in the Alta Maremma. Surrounded by olive groves, centuries-old cork oaks and the typical Mediterranean maquis. Brothers Filippo and Alessandro Pellegrini have been pressing their wines here since 1996. The two have some of the best locations in the Bolgheri region. They manage their farm according to organic principles.

Tasting note
The bouquet of this Vermentino features fruity and spicy components, making for an exciting drinking experience. There are notes of ripe apple, pear, anise and rosemary. The start on the palate is dense and merges into a voluminous body. Aromas of quince, melon, apricot are complemented by delicate almond notes and acacia blossoms. The freshness of this Vermentino runs deep into the finish and makes you want another glass.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasti, vitello tonnato, chicken pate, piccata milanese and rabbit stew.
Vinification
Aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
