About the wine
The well-known Allegrini winemaker family from Verona combines grapes from carefully selected plots of land in their Ripasso. They have succeeded in creating a typical, accessible ripasso that is slightly lighter than an Amarone and offers lots of pleasure without being expensive. An elegant all-rounder that bears the unmistakable Allegrinis signature.

Tasting note
Bright ruby red in medium intensity. On the fruity nose, juicy red cherries, dried plums and a hint of raspberry liqueur, accompanied by milk chocolate and crème brûlée, unfold. On the palate, the wine is warm and balanced, impressively confirming the fruit aromas of the nose. It shows a lot of intensity and a harmonious freshness, which contributes to a pleasant drinking flow. The aftertaste is long-lasting and inviting.
Culinary recommendation
We recommend this wine as an accompaniment to pot roast, lamb gigot or tagliata. It also goes well with venison stew, roast beef in mushroom sauce and ripe pecorino.
