About the wine
The nose smells of dried, ripe, red fruits, herbs and vanilla. The taste is round, warm and with a concentrated berry like ripe blackberries. On the finish with subtle and persistent toasted notes.

Das hervorstechende Duftspektrum des Valpolicella Classico DOP Ripasso Capitel della Crosara von schwarzem Pfeffer und Vanille spielt gekonnt mit Ihrem Geruchssinn. Als Nächstes überzeugen verspielte Nuancen von Himbeere und grüner Paprika resolut und bewusst Ihre Geschmackssinne. Mit verhalten fein ausgebauten Tanninen, mittelkräftigem Körper und dominanter Säure präsentiert dieser fruchtige Rotwein seine makellose Beschaffenheit.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef and horse meat, venison, semi-hard and hard cheeses.
Vinification
Storage in large wooden barrels for approx. 12 months, about 1/3 of the wine is aged in barriques for 4-6 months.
