About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Nervi is absolutely proficient in his craft. Tasting note
As the name of the location suggests, this vineyard in Gattinara is characterized by iron. The wine shows this impressively on the nose with fresh, red-berry aromas paired with elegant smokiness. On the palate, the wine impresses with its great structure and aromas of fresh pepper, kumquat and some tobacco. The tannins are youthful but ripe. Wine certainly still has its best years ahead of it, but it is already exciting to discover.
