Vinification
The Val do Galir is made from grapes from the top vineyard “A Malosa”, a location classified as particularly high-quality in DO Valdeorras. Spectacular slate soils and steep slopes with slopes of up to 40% characterize the character of this expressive wine. The grapes are harvested by hand in small 15 kg boxes. Before fermentation, a chilled maceration takes place to optimally preserve the aromas. The wine is then aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for four months, gaining in finesse and complexity.
