About the wine
Bodegas Trus truly represent the character of Ribera del Duero, where extreme weather conditions and barren soils are captured in the exceptional personality of the wines produced. From the cradle of Ribera del Duero, Bodegas Trus returns to the Château's traditional idea of producing wines from the winery whose grapes are grown just a few meters away from the winery. This of course benefits the quality of the grapes and is reflected very nicely in the wines produced.

Tasting note
Currants and amarena cherries in the complex nose, also gingerbread and blackberry jelly, with subtle pear path sweetness behind. A full start with a soft tannin structure and typical ribera warmth, now also plum compote and black elderberries, good balance between freshness and sweetness, showing promising reserves, velvety palate filling right into the long finale.
Culinary recommendation
Starters such as house pate or game terrines, dark mushroom sauces, stews, dark poultry such as duck or guinea fowl, steak variants, grilled meat, semi-hard and hard cheeses such as Sbrinz or mountain cheese.
